Home alone one afternoon, Martha opened the door expecting a courier or a neighbor. Not a boy with teary eyes, whispering, \u201cMOM?\u201d Her heart raced. She had three kids and had memorized every inch of their faces. So why was this boy claiming to be her son? The answers that came SHOOK HER to the core.<\/p>\n

Martha never got a real day off. Sure, technically, it was her scheduled day off from the store, but between the cooking, cleaning, and laundry, she may as well have been on the clock. That\u2019s what motherhood is all about, right?<\/p>\n

Not that she minded. She loved her family \u2014 her husband, Neil, and their three kids: two beautiful girls aged 13 and eight, and an 11-year-old bundle of mischief named Liam.
