Carl Dean, businessman and the devoted husband of country music icon Dolly Parton, has passed away at the age of 82.<\/p>\n
Dean died on March 3 in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Parton, 79, shared an emotional tribute, stating that “words can\u2019t do justice to the love” they shared over their many years together.<\/p>\n
Married for nearly 60 years, the couple renewed their vows nine years ago after originally tying the knot in May 1966.<\/p>\n
In the wake of Dean’s passing, Parton released a statement expressing, \u201cCarl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can\u2019t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.\u201d<\/p>\n
