JOKE OF THE DAY:
A woman pulls over as an officer approaches her vehicle.
“Is there a problem, Officer?” she asks.
“Ma’am, you were speeding,” he replies.
“Oh, I see,” she responds.
“Can I see your license, please?” he requests.
“I’d love to, but I don’t have one,” she admits.
“Don’t have one?” he questions, surprised.
“I lost it four times for drunk driving,” she explains with a grin.
The officer raises an eyebrow. “Can I see your vehicle registration papers?”
“I can’t do that,” she says nonchalantly.
“Why not?” he inquires.
“I stole this car,” she reveals.
“Stole it?” he asks, taken aback.
“Yes, and I killed and chopped up the owner,” she states matter-of-factly.
“You what?” he exclaims.
“His body parts are in plastic bags in the trunk if you want to check,” she adds casually.
The officer, clearly alarmed, slowly retreats to his car and calls for backup. Within moments, five police cars surround her vehicle.
A senior officer approaches cautiously.
“Ma’am, could you step out of your vehicle, please?” he requests.
She steps out with a calm demeanor. “Is there a problem, sir?”
“One of my officers claims you stole this car and murdered the owner,” he informs her.
“Murdered the owner?” she replies, feigning innocence.
“Yes, could you please open your trunk?” he asks.
She opens the trunk, revealing nothing but emptiness.
“Is this your car, ma’am?” he asks.
“Yes, here are the registration papers,” she says, handing them over.
The first officer stands in disbelief.
“One of my officers said you didn’t have a driving license,” the senior officer continues.
She reaches into her handbag, pulls out a clutch purse, and hands it to him.
He opens the purse and examines the license, looking perplexed.
“Thank you, ma’am. One of my officers claimed you didn’t have a license, that you stole this car, and that you murdered and dismembered the owner.”
With a smirk, she replies, “I bet that lying officer told you I was speeding too.”
The encounter left the officers speechless, and the station buzzing with disbelief. What began as a routine traffic stop turned into one of the most bizarre nights in the department’s history, as the woman’s outrageous claims felt like a twisted joke.
