The Kelly Clarkson Show Celebrates Its 1,000th Episode
As Kelly Clarkson reached a major career milestone, she took a moment to reflect on some cherished memories she’s made with her children along the way.
Kelly shares two kids with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock: her 10-year-old daughter, River Rose, and her 8-year-old son, Remington “Remy” Alexander.
When The Kelly Clarkson Show premiered on NBC in 2019, Kelly’s kids were just five and three years old.
Now, six years later, the show has reached an incredible milestone—its 1,000th episode!
This milestone comes shortly after Kelly took a brief, unexplained break from The Kelly Clarkson Show. In her absence, a series of guest hosts stepped in after she suddenly left in early March for undisclosed reasons.
According to ET, Kelly’s break was due to a “sudden family emergency,” though neither she nor her team ever confirmed the report.
She finally returned on March 18 but didn’t address her absence. Regardless, fans were thrilled to have her back.
Kelly Gets Emotional Watching Clips of Her Kids on Set
Kelly’s return was perfectly timed to celebrate The Kelly Clarkson Show’s 1,000th episode. To mark the occasion, her team compiled clips from her children’s past visits to the set.
Now much older than when the show first aired, River and Remy have grown up in front of the audience. Watching the footage of them as little kids on set brought Kelly to tears.
One especially heartwarming moment featured River asking Aquaman star Jason Momoa if he knew Ariel from The Little Mermaid—a sweet exchange that originally aired in 2019.
Naturally, the throwback compilation also included a clip of Remy performing “My Way” for a special “Kellyoke” segment. The heartwarming video of Remy singing the Frank Sinatra classic in 2024 quickly went viral, earning millions of views.
